Buy Tomato Cages? No Way!
The real gardeners among us will recognize my condition for this time of year -- I'm itching for spring to get here so I can get out in the garden. Love the taste of fresh-grown veggies from the garden. But thinking ahead and planning, if you are thinking you may have to buy tomato cages this year? No way, DIY!
I buy wire fencing for several purposes, but cut out about three feet of it, wrap it around and make cages for tomatoes and anything that climbs. Here's an excellent Mother Earth article on tomato cages.
